
2 cups Flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Honey
3/4 stick Butter
1 Egg
1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 cup Raisins [Optional]
2 Tbsp. Butter
2 Tbsp. Honey
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
Mix all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Take dough and knead on flour covered cutting board until just mixed. Shape into a 1 inch thick square. Cut into triangular wedges, and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Melt Butter and add Honey and Cinnamon in a small container. Brush over the tops of the wedges.
Bake in a 450°F oven for 10-15 minutes until scones are golden brown.
Makes 8 to 16 scones depending on wedge size.
