Dack spends his free time working extensively on his home network. He has a self-built Windows 10 Desktop, a Lenovo Windows 10 Laptop, and a Debian Linux server that he maintains over a gigabit ethernet wired/802.11ac wireless network.
In addition to networking, Phillips enjoys watching TV shows and movies. As an avid Superman fan growing up, he currently keeps up with DC Cinematic Universe movies such as Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, etc. He also regularly watches CW's Supergirl, The Flash, and SyFy's Krypton. He also enjoys The Big Bang Theory sitcom on CBS. Recently, he has developed an interest in USA's Mr. Robot due to the cyber-security aspects of the show. In the fall, Dack also watches Auburn football games as often as possible (much to his wife's chagrin).
Phillips and his wife also spend time playing retro video games (Nintendo and Super Nintendo) using emulation software on his Linux server.
Phillips enjoys playing strategy games like Chess and Risk when he can find opponents willing to play.
Phillips and his wife currently attend Union Hill Baptist Church where he runs sound, lighting, and computer equipment, as well as maintains the website.
