Testimony

I don't have a very extraordinary testimony, but when I was about 14 years old I was in church all the time and everyone thought I had it all together. If you would have asked anyone about me they would have more than likely said I was a Christian. However on the inside I was bitter, mean, and lost and on my way to hell. Then one night in my room my mom and I were talking and she asked me if I wanted to be saved and I accepted Christ in my room that night. It might not have looked like anything was wrong from the outside because I wasn't really doing anything all that bad but (like Paul Washington said) "the issue isn't that I had sinned, but rather I hadn't done anything BUT sin." I was lost and I cried out to Jesus to save me and forgive me and use my life to glorify Him. So I guess it really is very extraordinary for me because I remember what it was like to not know Real Peace and Love and Joy and Faithfulness, and now I will never be the same again.

The last few years of my life have been a process of spiritual growth. Since I have been with the band I have come to understand more about worship and the fact that it's not just music or stuff like that, but what you do when you wake up every morning-- (your lifestyle). The number one thing I can think of that has directly affected my walk outside of the Word of God and my prayer life is the people I hang out with in the band. That would be my advice to anyone. Hang around with people that are seeking the Lord and striving for a closer walk with Him everyday. So, as for the last few years, God has done so many things that it would take so forever to name them all, but the main ones are giving me solid Christian friends to help me in my walk with Him, and to pray for me when something comes up in my life. And thats all, yall.

To the praise and glory of His grace.
