Testimony
In March of 1989, I walked the aisle of First Baptist Church in Oneonta, Alabama to accept my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ into my heart. I remember on Easter Sunday, April 2, 1989, I was baptized. At nine years of age, I began to realize the importance and the meaning of Jesus Christ dying on a cross to take away all of my sins. I was very fortunate to have so many Christian people who in my life who helped me along my journey to know Christ more. In 1993, I began attending a church in Oneonta called, Dayspring Tabernacle. I believe that this is where I truly began to grow deeper in my relationship with the Lord. I had many Christian friends that I went to church with. We each helped one another in our Spiritual growth, accountability, and by encouraging one another.
When I became involved with the praise and worship band, Someday Heaven, I began to learn the true meaning of worship. I learned that worship is not just an act of singing songs, but that it is by living your everyday life for God. I worship God with my life. Everyday I begin a brand new day experiencing God’s wonderful love for me.
